See how they run

Saturday, 23 March, 2013 - 10:00 to Sunday, 24 March, 2013 - 16:00

See large mining machines in action on the surface and under the ground! Our annual See how they run event features demonstrations of some of the machines that used to cut and move coal, and this year will also feature demonstrations under the ground! Also, there will be talks and demonstrations from our horsekeeping staff about the historic role of horses and ponies in coal mines.
