Digging deeper into STEM

Monday, 18 March, 2013 - 10:00 to 15:00

Science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) is set to be the fastest growing sector with the highest paid careers by 2015 and is highlighted as ‘critical’ by all political parties in relation to future economic growth and success. It is vital that we have young people with the skills and ambitions to fill these jobs and drive our country forward. NYBEP Ltd and York Potash have teamed up to organise an event for young people aged 14-19. Taking place during National Science & Engineering Week, it is for young people who want to dig a little deeper and find out why STEM is so important and discover where it can take them in their career.
