Life after your CREST Award

So, you have finished your project, received your CREST certificate and had a great time undertaking your project. What can you do next?

Your CREST journey does not have to end at the certificate, there are plenty of ways you can stay in touch with the scheme and continue taking part in interesting opportunities, events and competitions.

Below is a summary of the ways in which we can continue to support you after your CREST Award. For more details about any of these please go the individual pages.

CREST Alumni Network [1]

The CREST Alumni Network is the main way we keep in touch with students who have undertaken a CREST Award at any level.
It is a FREE, simple to sign up for network which sends out an e-newsletter every 6 months. In it we have articles about inspirational CREST Alumni, CREST prize winners' stories, details of volunteering and other opportunities and other competitions and events you may be interested in.

CREST on Facebook and Twitter [2]

At the CREST Awards we like to keep you up to date with things as they happen. Follow us on Twitter (@CRESTAwards), or ‘like’ us on Facebook (/CRESTAwardsUK).

Celebrating your CREST Award [3]

Once you have achieved your CREST Award, you may wish to attend an event – either locally or nationally - to celebrate your work or even compete in a competition for prizes. Here we list some of the main events and competitions we encourage you to attend.

CREST Youth Panel [4]

The CREST Youth Panel is a select group of CREST Award holders (aged 13-19) who meet twice a year at large science events across the UK to reflect and input into the CREST scheme's projects and those of our partners.

We describe what the youth panel gets up to, how to nominate yourself and you can find all the forms you need here (or in the Download Hub [5] section).
