Want your pupils to brush up on their KS3 Science with some learning outside the classroom? Bring a group to the RNLI Grace Darling Museum to take part in our led Science Trail. Pupils will learn about the science associated with the famous Grace Darling rescue of the survivors of the SS Forfarshire shipwreck in 1838. The trail leader will help pupils revise topics like states of matter and the reactivity series in the unique context of this RNLI museum. Whilst focusing on aspects of KS3 Science, pupils will also learn the story of England's treasured Victorian heroine through a fascinating collection of contemporary artefacts. They will also gain valuable citizenship insights through the museum's focus on helping others.
