A unique opportunity for A Level students, their parents and teachers to meet scientists from within the NHS who are normally hidden from public view. Through presentations from leading NHS scientists in the fields of Life Sciences in Pathology, Physiology, Medical Physics and more the audience will gain an insight into the day to day work involved in these careers and the skills and qualities needed to succeed. Demonstrations will be given by a wide rage of scientists in Science Fair arrangement, giving the students and guests an opportunity to see science in action and the opportunity to ask the scientists more informal questions too. At the end of the evening a presentation will be given about future opportunities for scientific careers in the NHS and next steps for students interested.
