The Fossil & Rock Show is a free annual event for primary schools full of hands-on activities and demonstrations. It is aimed at Key Stage 2 and covers the rock cycle; separation of materials using their physical properties; earthquakes, volcanoes and other hazards; adaptation of different plants and animals to their environments; and the many uses of rocks and minerals in everyday life (Geology in Your Shopping Basket).
