Inspiring Science (11 – 24 March 2013) at the British Library is a series of exciting events and activities celebrating science and scientists. The activities coincide with both Brain Awareness Week and National Science and Engineering Week. As part of this season, the British Library and the Francis Crick Institute are running FREE lectures inspiring A Level Science students about the world of science. Speakers include:

12 March, 2-3pm and 3.30-4.30pm

Hewlett-Packard Professor of Electronic Engineering within the Bristol Robotics Lab at UWE Bristol

13 March, 2-3pm and 3.30-4.30pm

Professor Mark Maslin

Professor of Climatology at University College London

Professor Kairbaan Hodivala-Dilke

Head of the Angiogenesis Laboratory in the Centre for Tumour Biology, Barts Institute of Cancer, London
