Our strong links and relationships with a wide variety of experts and the media place us at the centre of the community and cement our reputation for professional and cutting-edge delivery.

Communication and public engagement training

We provide science communication skills training for scientists, students and clinicians. Whether you want to deliver compelling public lectures, design an eye-catching research poster, or just develop your communication skills, we can design and deliver a course to help. Current workshops include 'Communicating Science' workshops at Imperial College, Newcastle University and Guy's & St Thomas' hospital.

If you're applying, or thinking about applying, for a public engagement grant or award, we can run workshops to help you out.

Public dialogues

If you're running a public dialogue we can help source speakers, scientific experts, facilitators, venues and catering. Past public dialogues include 'Experiment Earth', a series of deliberative workshops and open access events about geoengineering for the Natural Environment Research Council (Feb-April 2010) and dialogues about the use of human material in animals for the Academy of Medical Sciences. All dialogues helped feed public and stakeholder views into science policy development.

Recent collaborators include: Ipsos MORI, Dialogue by Design, Sciencewise-ERC and the Training Group.
