The British Science Association seeks and receives sponsorship from organisations to support its programmes and activities. The Association recognises that a sponsorship arrangement is for the mutual benefit of both parties and undertakes as far as possible to meet the requirements of the sponsoring organisation in the publicity and promotional material relating to the sponsored event or programme. Specific arrangements are detailed in a written sponsorship agreement which sets out clearly the responsibilities and expectations of both the sponsor and the Association and the benefits that each will receive.
Acceptance by the British Science Association of sponsorship cannot be taken to imply endorsement by the Association of the sponsoring organisation's products, services, policies or activities. Any mention by the sponsoring organisation of its sponsorship of the Association, and/or the use of the Association's logo or any written material produced by the Association, in any public communication or PR activity must be the subject of prior written agreement and the use of the British Science Association's logo must follow the Association's branding rules.
