Jeremy Webb

Jeremy Webb has acquired extensive experience of the financial and marketing disciplines.  After qualifying in the City with Baker Sutton (now Ernst & Young) as a Chartered Accountant in 1962, he pursued a career in accounting and financial management with General Motors, McAlpine and Unigate.  In 1974 he gained an MBA at Cranfield, specialising in marketing.  He joined Black & Decker as Manager Middle East and later became UK Marketing Manager.  Subsequently he held financial directorships in rapidly growing companies in the international oil sector, UK house building, and a capital project and distribution group trading with Eastern Europe.

In 1992 Jeremy Webb established Webb Associates, Chartered Accountants.  The firm provided a wide range of advisory services including business planning, marketing strategy, financial management, banking relationships, treasury and currency management, corporate restructuring, and sourcing finance for new ventures and existing businesses. The practice was sold in 2006.

Since 1978 Jeremy Webb has been a member of Maidenhead Rowing Club.  He chaired the committee which raised funds to relocate the Club in 1998 at a total cost of £900k with the help of Lottery funds. He was elected President of the Club in 2007.
