Date: Monday March 11th 2013 10.00-2.30 pm. An action-packed day full of investigation and discovery, inspired by the 1861 collapse of Chichester Cathedral's spire. Transformed into engineers, Year 5 and 6 pupils will use historical photographs and make onsite inspections of the Cathedral itself to piece together their evidence and present their findings to a Spire Inquiry panel. This will be followed by practical activities to create solutions to ensure the spire doesn't collapse again!
Booking essential phone Sue on 01243 812497 or email education@chichestercathedral.org.uk [2] Cost: £8 a pupil (£7 for School Friends)
