Join us at the museum and become ancient Egyptian pyramid builders as you learn about ancient egyptian engineering and science. Construct a 3 metre tall pyramid with secret burial chamber, have a go at moving heavy stone blocks by sledge, make papyrus paper by hand, learn how to perform an ancient egyptian mummification, and carve hieroglyphs into stone.

The workshop is being held on Saturday 16th March 2013, you can attend the morning session 9:30 -12:00 or the afternoon session 13:30-1600.

Entry cost is £8 per child, £20 for 1 adult 1 child, and £25 for 1 adult 2 children.
