Plastics 'r' Fantastic: Have fun whilst being creative with waste! Try your hand at transforming plastic drinks bottles into flowers, windmills, bird-feeders, spiders and rockets in our Mongolian Community yurt beside the Earthship Fife Visitor Centre, Kinghorn Loch. With an emphasis on the 3 R’s (Reduce, Re-use, Re-cycle) our Plastics ‘r’ Fantastic workshop challenges children and adults alike to think creatively about waste and inspires them to transform everyday plastic household waste into projects they can take home. When you been creative take a free guided tour of the Earthship Fife Visitor Centre. The Earthship is a fully autonomous, self-sustaining building. As the first and only in Scotland, the Earthship is a highly energy efficient building made from natural and recycled materials - mostly tyres filled with earth, aluminium cans and bottles. Come along and learn more about this unique building.
