Speakers include: Professor Sian Harding, Professor of Cardiac Pharmacology, Imperial College; Victor Perez-Mares: Viridor Professor; Carolin Crawford, Professor of Astronomy, Gresham College; Tony Ballantyne, Science Fiction writer. Organised to co-inside with National Science & Engineering Week, this day will bring you bang up to date with innovation in those sciences of greatest topical interest in 2013. You will discover amazing advances in imaging distant galaxies. You will understand the progress and issues in regenerative medicine. You will hear about innovative ways to harness green energy from waste. And we will hear some of the latest science flash fiction and discuss creativity in science fact and fantasy.
