You will get the chance to:

  • Hear about national and local public engagement opportunities
  • Find out about volunteering with the British Science Association
  • Meet the regional coordinator and members of the Manchester branch
  • Get hands on and help design family-friendly activities, for the Big Saturdays family days at the Manchester Museum.

A free, light snack buffet will also be available.

Anyone across Greater Manchester with an interest in sharing a passion for science is welcome to attend. Whether you are looking to work with an existing network of volunteer science communicators or are considering organising your own public engagement events, this information session is for you.
