We aim to lead those involved in public engagement by sharing best practice and encouraging innovation through our core programmes, training schemes and consulting on external projects.

 
What We Do

For researchers, we operate the Media Fellowships scheme which places researchers into the heart of the media and run workshops to develop public engagement skills.

For science communicators, we organise the annual Science Communication Conference and operate the Collective Memory resource.

We run a range of public events including the popular x-change show and podcast at the British Science Festival as well as workshops, debates and talks.

We also work on strategy and policy-related projects such as Sciencewise and Science for All.
