If you’re thinking about writing a proposal for the 2013 Conference, why not consider one of these creative session formats to better communicate your message and involve your session attendees?

Pecha-Kucha – this high-speed presentation format limits speakers to 20 slides each which are each limited to 20 seconds each

Open Space Technology – this format allows attendees to organise themselves to address a specific, central issue

Speed Geeking – like speed dating, this format allows participants to closely engage with many speakers over a short time period

Fishbowl – designed for open discussion, this format has speakers at the centre with the audience around the sides and anyone is welcome to join the conversation

Knowledge Café – (AKA World Café) designed for problem solving, this format brings small groups together for creative discussion

Ideas Wall (such as in 2012's Honest Sharing session) where attendees can write ideas on post-its and group them under headings to contribute to a topic of discussion
