Our projects

We work with three main audiences:

Researchers, engineers, clinicians etc.

Our current programme for researchers includes:

Media Fellowships - placing researchers into the heart of the media.

Strictly Engineering - challenging engineers from academia and industry to design an exciting poster about their work.

Public engagement training - helping researchers to better engage with the public and appreciate the social impact of research.

Science communicators

Our programmes to support the growing science communication community:

The Science Communication Conference - the annual event for discussion and sharing best practice

Science for All - the pan-organisational strategy group supporting the work of science communicators

Collective Memory - the online resource of what works in public engagement

CPD for science communicators - coming soon!

The public:

Our main project for the public is the x-change at the British Science Festival.

We have extensive experience in running events for the public - if you'd like us to consult on your public engagement project, see work with us

We also work with policy makers through our involvement with Sciencewise.
