Science For All

Science for All was the pan-organisational strategy group that aimed to support those involved with public engagement. The group was supported by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and chaired by Roland Jackson, former Chief Executive of the British Science Association.

“This initiative gives us a unique opportunity, as a community of people and organisations concerned with public engagement with science, to help build the vision of a more mature relationship between science, policy and society. We will welcome ideas from all quarters, in addition to those offered during the consultation process, to aid us in developing plans that are widely supported.”

Sir Roland Jackson, former Chief Executive, British Science Association.

Projects and resources:

  • Collective Memory - the knowledge-sharing site about what works in public engagement.
  • Conversational Tool for Public Engagement - a resource that aims to help to describe different types of public engagement activities.
  • Continuing Professional Development - the hub for public engagement skills. (Coming soon!)

For more information, please see the main Department for Business, Innovation and Skills site.
