Communication and public engagement training
We provide communication skills training for researchers, engineers, students and clinicians engage the public with their work.
Whether you want to deliver compelling public lectures, design an eye-catching poster, or just develop your communication skills, we can design and deliver a course to help.
We have delivered workshops at Imperial College, Newcastle University and Guy's & St Thomas' hospital, among others.
Current workshops include Communicate your science, Social media - a tool for communicating science, Writing for lay audiences.

Our strong links and relationships with a wide variety of experts and the media, cemented by the annual Science Communication Conference, place us at the centre of the science communication community.
We build on our projects experience and on our collaboration with a wide range of partners in projects such as:
- Crowd wise, bringing engineers and citizens together to reach a shared understanding of how to achieve sustainability in the areas to which engineers can contribute
- Experiment Earth for the Natural Environment Research Council and Exploring boundaries for the Academy of Medical Sciences, public dialogues that fed public and stakeholder views into science policy development
