In September 2016, the British Science Association will be launching a celebration of the 30th anniversary of our flagship education programme, the CREST Awards.

In recognition of this milestone, we’ll be casting a nostalgic eye back over the history of the awards and the people who have helped to make it the programme it is today.

Since their inception in 1986, the awards have been on quite a journey, providing STEM enrichment and rewarding the project work of over 400,000 young people along the way.

Were you involved with CREST as a student in the 80s, 90s or 00s?

Is that you with the perm in our 1986 flyer!?!

Or do you have any inspiring stories of former CREST students?

We’d love to hear your CREST story, so get in touch at [email protected] to join the celebration.

The anniversary will be marked with special events and activities throughout the academic year 2016/17, and to say thank you, we’ll be offering prizes for responses to this request for stories, including invitations to our flagship celebration events in 2017.
