Each year, the Festival generates hundreds of media stories – last year, there were around 225 articles in the UK national newspapers, almost 300 regional newspaper articles, more than 125 radio broadcasts and 38 TV broadcasts, as well as significant international coverage. This year will be no exception.
The British Science Festival 2010 – Press Launch

The British Science Festival 2010 will take place in Birmingham 14-19 September. Several key speakers from the Festival, including the President of the British Science Association, Lord Sainsbury of Turville, will be speaking at the Press Launch of the Festival on Thursday 9th September.
All talks given at the Press Launch are under embargo until 00.01am Tuesday 14th September as stated on the individual papers.

Press Registration 2010
The British Science Association will be operating a Press Centre at the Festival from 13-17 September, providing desk space, access to telephones, internet PCs and interview rooms. Registered journalists will have access to embargoed speakers’ papers online a fortnight before the event and will be able to attend press conferences with the key speakers at the Festival.
