How many ways can a person die?
As the nights lengthened and winter loomed, the Dana Centre audience got to grips with the Grim Reaper, becoming death detectives to solve the mystery of Jane Doe's demise.

The event opened with short talks about the possible causes of her demise:

Colin Berry, Emeritus Professor of morbid anatomy, University of London.

Elijah Behr, cardiologist, St Georges Medical School.

John Henry, toxicologist at St Mary's Hospital, London.

Scientist Amoret Brandt chatted with the audience about how dead pigs aid her research into post mortem interval, and how she uses blowflies to help the police.

Researcher Alice Frangoulis discussed consciousness and near death experiences.

Finally, sound engineer Sarah Angliss played the 'death note', infrasound so powerful that Cold War scientists thought it had the strength to kill.

So how did Jane Doe die?  The audience vote may have said Sudden Adult Death Syndrome, but fears of foul play in the Dana cafe could not be allayed.
