National Science & Engineering Week Information Sessions
Information Sessions are a great chance for anyone to find out more about National Science & Engineering Week (NSEW) first hand, get hold of a whole range of resources and exchange ideas with other organisers in your area.
Every year over a million people attend NSEW events, the UK’s widest grassroots celebration of science and engineering. The Week provides a platform for a diverse range of organisations to reach out to new and existing audiences with events and activities that communicate the wonders of the sciences and engineering. It next takes place from 9-18 March 2012 and the theme will be "Our World in Motion".
There are various reasons to take part in NSEW, including:
a great time to plan your school's activity week and benefit from the support offered by the British Science Association
to tell the public and the media about your work to raise your profile locally
align your organisation with a well-established national campaign for the sciences and engineering
fun and motivational for your staff and can help develop new skills.
