Cambridge Science Festival

Cambridge Science Festival; 9th-22nd March 2009

Cambridge Science Festival is the largest free science festival in the UK. Each year you can find out about the past, present and future of science with over 200 events for all ages. The 2009 family events included 'Darwin and the dodo' and a 'Superheroes of Science' gig! Along with the usual mix of free hands on activities, museum trails, top talks and much much more! They also offered a Schools’ Roadshow between 9 and 13 March, with 25 speakers from the University offering talks and workshops on everything from Antarctic science and astronomy to  gurgling guts, the Star Trek tri-corder and zoological bones.
