National Science Competition
This new competition for 13-19 year olds will crown the ‘UK Young Scientist of the Year’ and ‘UK Young Technologist of the Year’ at the UK Young Scientists' and Engineers' Fair on the eve of National Science and Engineering Week. It’s an initiative of the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills, and is being coordinated by the BA.
All individuals aged 13-19 in the UK who have completed a science, technology, engineering or mathematics based activity between 1 September 2007 and 1 November 2008 are eligible to enter. The project must have taken at least 30 hours to complete.
