Internationally renowned bioethicist and educator, Michael Reiss, has been named Vice-President of the YP section of the British Science Association.
The British Science Association today announces highlights of National Science and Engineering Week 2010 (NSEW) 12th to 21st March. This year the theme of the ten-day programme of events and activities is 'Earth', in support of the International Year of Biodiversity, and will encourage you to take a fresh look at all the wierd and wonderful flora and fauna that inhabit our small but diverse island.
Schools and colleges across Wales are being actively encouraged to participate in the national CREST awards to stimulate interest in science and boost the numbers of young people taking science related subjects.
"Our world in motion" is to be the theme of next year's National Science & Engineering Week, taking place across the UK from 9-18 March 2012.
The British Science Festival - Europe's largest and most high profile public science event - will be coming to Newcastle in September 2013.
