Every year, the British Science Festival (previously known as the BA Festival of Science) generates hundreds of articles in the UK press – the coverage for 2010, when the Festival visited Birmingham, equated to almost 200 stories in the UK national newspapers, nearly 250 regional newspaper articles, at least 240 radio broadcasts and over 25 TV broadcasts.
