Biography Baroness Kennedy of the Shaws
Baroness Helena Kennedy QC is a Barrister and broadcaster. She is the chair of the Human Genetics Commission, British Council, Chancellor of Oxford Brookes University and is on the advisory council of the World Bank Institute.
She practises predominantly in criminal law and has acted in many of the leading British cases of the last decade, including the Brighton Bombing Trial and the Guildford Four Appeal.
