Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the 2009 perspectives scheme, applicants must be:
Research does not have to be application driven; we especially encourage scientists involved in pure research to apply.
- a postgraduate or postdoctoral scientist, social scientist or engineer funded by one of the UK Research Councils
- available to attend one of three summer workshops in London (1, 7 & 16 July)
- available to attend the British Science Festival in Guildford from 5 to 9 September (travel and accommodation are provided)
