The Conference addresses the key issues facing science communicators in the UK and each year brings together people who are involved in public engagement - a diverse group of people from a broad range of backgrounds. It is a fantastic opportunity to network and share ideas and best practice.

The theme for the 2010 Conference was ‘Audiences for engagement’ which explored different types of audiences and engagement style.

The Conference is held in partnership with the Wellcome Trust

"As someone who hasn’t been to this Conference before, all plenary sessions were of particular interest to me, learning from speaker’s advices and experience. It was a surprise to realise the wide range of roles that can be done in the area of Science Communication and I appreciated to meet professionals whom with I share interests and excitement."

Conference delegate, 2009
