We can offer a number of tailored workshops and dialogues to suit you and your organisation. Why not use our expertise and see how we can work for you.
Our Approach We are a friendly and approachable team and offer impartial and inclusive expertise to help support your public engagement projects. We have the confidence and the contacts to draw on the expertise of the entire science communication community to provide a big impact from a small team. Our strong links and relationships with a wide variety of experts and the media place us at the centre of the community and cement our reputation for professional and cutting-edge delivery. Communication training Public engagement workshops Public dialogues
We provide science communication skills training for scientists, students and clinicians. Whether you want to deliver compelling public lectures, design an eye-catching research poster, or just develop your communication skills, we can design and deliver a course to help. Current workshops include 'Communicating Science' workshops at Imperial College, Newcastle University and Guy's & St Thomas' hospital.
If you're applying, or thinking about applying, for a public engagement grant or award, we run workshops to help you out. We recently ran workshops on behalf of EPSRC interested in public engagement.
If you're running a public dialogue we can help source speakers, scientific experts, facilitators, venues and catering. Past public dialogues include 'Experiment Earth', a series of deliberative workshops and open access events about geoengineering for the Natural Environment Research Council (Feb-April 2010) and dialogues about the use of human material in animals for the Academy of Medical Sciences. All dialogues helped feed public and stakeholder views into science policy development.
