The community x-change - East Anglia
The first series of community x-changes took place in June & July 2006, based in East Anglia. A group of local residents met to talk about environmental change, as well as other local issues of concern, sharing their thoughts and views on possible action.
Meetings took place over four days in June & July 2006
A diverse group was drawn together from a wide range of communities
Eight scientists joined the community group as non-specialists
Six individuals were invited to the last workshop to share their experience and knowledge
A report on the workshops was presented at the 2006 BA Festival of Science in Norwich
The project aims to feed participants' views into policy at local and national levels
