The British Science Association is extremely grateful to our benefactors, including several Trusts and Foundations, that provide support across our range of programmes.

There are several project areas which attract the support of Trusts and Foundations, example case studies include:

- The British Science Festival – Europe’s largest public science festival. Case studies: The Granada Foundation and the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851

- CREST Awards and CREST Star Investigators –  UK-wide curriculum enrichment schemes for young people aged 5 -19 nationwide. Case study: the SHINE Trust

- Science in Society – building networks, supporting scientists and science communicators and involving diverse audiences. Case study: Wellcome Trust
