The flexibility of CREST means that we already work with a number of partner organisations to recognise their schemes through CREST, enabling students to work towards a CREST Award whilst taking part in other investigative project based activities.

The following schemes are recognised by the CREST Awards:

Bronze level

• The Smallpeice Trust's Engineering Experience courses
• BP Enterprising Science projects
• Survival Rivals - with further development there may be potential for I’m a Worm Get Me Out Of Here to be accredited at Bronze level
• Science Museum Club Box Kits
• Jaguar Cars Maths in Motion Challenge for Schools
• STEM Challenges which encourage pupils to explore the challenges involved in delivering the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and tackle them using science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) skills
• The Silverstone Design Challenge

Silver level

• 4x4 in Schools
• Go4SET
• Survival Rivals - with further development there may be potential for Brine Date to be accredited at Silver level
• Nuffield Council on Bioethics Animals in Research  resources includes a series of activities which can be developed into a Silver level Science Communication Project
• Work completed for the schemes listed for Bronze can be accredited with Silver if extra work is completed
• The Silverstone Design Challenge

Gold level

• Engineering Education Scheme England
• Nuffield Science Bursaries
• Survival Rivals - with further development there may be potential for The X-Bacteria to be accredited at Gold level.
• The Silverstone Design Challenge

Local coordinators will administer and assess the CREST awards for the schemes listed above.
