Young people's interest, understanding and proficiency of STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and maths) is of great importance in our technologically-advancing world.
STEM clubs give students the time to engage with STEM in a hands-on and profound way. They enable students to apply and extend STEM skills and concepts that they are taught in the classroom. STEM clubs also facilitate project-based working, such as the kind of work seen with the CREST Award.
STEM clubs are also a lot of fun! They allow young people to develop skills of communication, problem-solving and teamwork in an environment that is relevent to many future careers.
