“Feathers – A dinosaur vision of Wollaton”
Dr. Wang Qi, University of Nottingham

In 2014, four new exhibition proposals, designed by Master of Architecture students, were exhibited in Wollaton central hall. They attracted great interests among visitors because what they tried to interpret is something special enough - feathered dinosaurs. In terms of fully celebrating these exciting fossils, the designers tried to use the concept of Spatial Narrative to reshape both the exhibition and building where knowledge, history, story and legend could all fuse together.

In this talk, Dr. Wang Qi will bring you into the visual world of design schemes, and narrate their hidden meanings that are entangled with dramatic stories behind the discoveries of these bizarre "lizards".

Come and meet a top scientist in one of your local real ale pubs!
