What is Engage?

Engage is a community of teachers and educators who want to transform access to relevant and meaningful STEM* work for all children and young people, especially those who are most often underrepresented in science.

It’s a group where teachers come together to share best practice, access inspiring resources and expert support, and apply for grants – it’s all in one place and it’s all completely free.

Who is it for?

Engage is open to all teachers and educators working in early years settings and primary, secondary and special schools in challenging circumstances, who are committed to supporting young people underrepresented in science.

To be eligible to join the Engage community, educators must work in a school that meets at least one of the following criteria:

  1. at least 30% of pupils are eligible for pupil premium (or equivalent)
  2. at least 30% of pupils are from an ethnic minority background
  3. the school is located in a designated rural postcode.
