Engagement Manager

We are recruiting a talented and motivated Engagement Manager to help us implement our vision and strategy

The Engagement team is responsible for managing the delivery and expansion of the BSA’s public-facing activities and events. Our strength is that we are a nationwide organisation, with an emphasis on local partnerships. We support, grow, and diversify the community of people who are interested and involved with science. We provide platforms and programmes for different publics to access and enjoy science, and strengthen their confidence to influence and question its direction and place in society.

As an Engagement Manager, you will play an important role in delivering the Engagement Strategy, including taking responsibility for the content development of the British Science Festival and helping to shape future Citizen Science initiatives.

There will also be the opportunity to be involved in a growing area of Education policy work, and to help develop a new ‘Early Years’ CREST project. You will also spend a few days each month allocated to other projects within the Association, working across all our programmes, transferring your time, skills and energy to different projects and priorities at different times.
