Digital Shoreditch 2015

The British Science Association is pleased to be a partner of Digital Shoreditch Festival, which celebrates and showcases tech and its converging industries, with a programme that includes talks, workshops, screenings, open studios, meetups, exhibitions and more - all drawn from the community.

Key themes including Brands, Marketing and Advertising return for 2015, alongside new topics including: Film, Music, Intelligent Devices, Smart Cities, Wearabletech, Health and Foodtech, Makertech, Fintech, Space and Incubation.

  Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A)

We are delighted to be working in partnership with the V&A on the Jacob Bronowski Award Lecture for Science and the Arts, to celebrate cutting-edge work at the interface between the arts and sciences. 

  Goldsmiths University

We are partnering wtih Goldsmiths University, the Daphne Oram Collection and The Oram Trust on a second new Award Lecture, the Daphne Oram Award Lecture for Digital Innovation.

      Kids Company

We are working with Kids Company on two projects. The first is with their Urban Academy – a post-16 educational and life skills academy based in South East London – to explore opportunities for students to achieve CREST Awards as part of the Academy’s tailored education programme. The second is a science engagement show for primary school-aged children from Kids Company's London Centres, as a first introduction to the fun, creativity and wonder of science for these children who would not otherwise have access to such opportunities.  

        Science Museum

We are pleased to be partnering with the Science Museum on the latter of these Kids Company initiatives, taking place during British Science Week 2015.

  Millennium Point young innovator prize 2015

The Millennium Point prize is working with five schools in Birmnigham on this new initiative - supported by the British Science Association, STEMNET and the Association of Science Educators - that will see the Millennium Point Trust sponsor the winner through a three year undergraduate degree at Birmingham City University.
