The British Science Association were delighted to receive a special grant from the Ernest Cook Trust which will allow us to create a CREST Star activity to enable young people to discover science outdoors.

The Ernest Cook Trust is one of the UK’s leading outdoor learning charities. Rooted in the conservation and management of the countryside, the Trust actively encourages children and young people to learn from the land through hands-on outdoor learning opportunities.

Our CREST Award scheme is also rooted in enabling children and young people to learn about science through a cross-curricular and hands-on learning opportunity.

The British Science Association will work in partnership with a national partner to enable us to reach young people throughout the UK with our new resource.
