We partnered with 3M for the first time in 2016 through 3M’s sponsorship of British Science Week 2016.

British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths - featuring fascinating, entertaining and engaging events and activities across the UK for people of all ages.

In partnership with the British Science Association, 3M sponsored an entire day of British Science Week 2016 (Tuesday 15 March), running a series of events across the country, and inviting three primary schools to attend a Behind the Scenes event at 3M’s Customer Innovation Centre.

3M have a long history of storytelling and a strong understanding of how storytelling can help promote 3M’s commitment to challenging conventions and encouraging new, innovative solutions. Working together with the British Science Association, 3M are challenging people’s perceptions of science and scientists; events such as those held during British Science Week 2016 have allowed young people to engage with scientists, and find out more about their lives in a relatable and informative way, promoting the value of STEM subjects and showing their application in the workplace.

As part of 3M’s commitment to innovation and storytelling, they will be working in partnership with the British Science Association at the British Science Festival 2016. Stay tuned for upcoming information on the interactive and engaging ways 3M will feature at the Festival!
